Edward Peters, MD, FAAAAI

After graduating from Catholic University of America he attended the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston for medical school. He went on to complete residency training in internal medicine, as well as a fellowship at M.D. Anderson in Pulmonology and Critical Care medicine. He then completed an additional fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at The University of Virginia. He continues to work on problems related to chronic sinus disease, lung disease, and asthma. He has been selected as Super Doctor in Texas Monthly for the past several years. Dr. Peters is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, and Allergy & Immunology. He has continued to follow his passion for education of physicians and patients, and manages several other informative websites including AustinAsthma and TexasFluBusters.

Maria Gutierrez, MD, FAAAAI

Dr. Gutierrez is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Pharmacy, and completed medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston (UTMB). She stayed at UTMB to complete her residency training in Internal Medicine, and then went on to complete an Allergy and Immunology fellowship at National Jewish Medical and Research Center, University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, Colorado. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Allergy & Immunology. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.


Paul Vigo, MD, FACAAI

Prior to joining the practice in 2005, Dr. Vigo had previously trained at Washington University Hospital in St. Louis and worked at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio. He has a special interest in nasal allergies as they relate to asthma and chronic sinus disease. He also prescribes allergy drops as therapy for appropriate patients. He is a regional speaker on topics that involve allergies and asthma and is on his fourth term as the President of the Austin Allergy Society. In addition, he sits on the Board of Directors for Texas Allergy, Asthma and Immunology Society.  He has passed board certifications for both Internal Medicine and Allergy.  He is fluent in both English and Spanish.  He is also a “former” allergic and asthmatic person.



Eben Soliz, PA

Having a Physician Assistant to handle work-ins and promptly answer patients questions is helpful to the clinic and immensely popular with our patients. Eben is capable and knowledgeable, and is ready to help with any allergic problems that may arise.
